What it costs to enter: nothing

Download the range, play it, and your runs are scored and ranked from the first one. No fee, no ticket, no wallet.

The access key is not an entry. It is what decides who is eligible for the prize at the end, and it is the thing that paid for the range being built in the first place.

The key that makes you eligible

Epic Fury is the collection VS Protocol minted with xSPECTAR on the XRP Ledger. 600 keys, three rarities, and any one of them puts you on the Holders tab.

180 of the 600 are out, held by 63 people, which means the field competing for this prize is small and the odds of a good shooter taking it are not the odds you would get in a mass giveaway. Rarity does not change your eligibility: one key of any tier is enough. Buying one during the competition counts too, as long as you still hold it at close.

How the winner is chosen and paid

When the clock stops we snapshot the XRP Ledger to confirm which linked wallets hold a key. The highest-ranked eligible player proves control of that wallet with one more Xaman sign-in, and the XRP goes out.

Then the full final table gets published, not just the winner. If you came fourth, you get to see that you came fourth and see the run that beat you.

What happens when

NOTE: the open date is triggered by the build being ready, not by a date on a calendar, which is why this page does not name a day. You get at least 48 hours notice before it opens, on X and in Discord.

The rules, in full

• The Epic Fury range is free to download and open to everyone.
• Scoring rules are published before the competition opens. Best single run counts, unlimited attempts.
• The prize of USD 1,000, paid in XRP, goes to the highest-ranked player whose linked wallet holds at least one Epic Fury access key at the moment the competition closes.
• Wallets are linked by signing in with Xaman. One wallet, one player.
• Buying an Epic Fury during the competition counts, as long as it is held at close.
• Runs are submitted by the game server only. Runs that fail sanity checks are excluded.
• The winner confirms control of the wallet with one more Xaman sign-in before payout.
• VS Protocol may correct standings for verified errors, and will publish the final table.

Nothing here is a draw

No ticket, no random number, no chance element. The best score wins, and if you are outshot you can watch exactly how. There is no token either, and there is not going to be one. The prize is XRP.

And this is round one. The same backend was built to run the Solana and Avalanche rounds behind it, which is why eligibility is a ledger query rather than a spreadsheet somebody maintains by hand.
