What the shooting range is
The loop is stripped back on purpose. Download the client, sign in from the splash screen, and push through a live fire course. Hit your marks on the move, run the clock down, and put your name on a public board that everybody can see.
Run it as many times as you like. Only your single best attempt stays up.
NOTE: the weapon loadout and the full scoring rules are being finalised now, and both get announced across our channels before the range opens. Nobody turns up having practised the wrong thing.
Why a shooting range first
Because moving and shooting are not a side feature in an extraction shooter. They are the architecture. Every system, every economy, every layer we design later sits directly on top of how the thing feels in your hands.
Which brings up the question most studios duck until late beta: is the gunplay actually any good?
We think it is. But we would far rather hear that from a few hundred competitive players with their hands on it than decide it internally off our own footage.
So the range is an open playtest with a prize attached. Ten minutes and you will know whether you like it. If the movement feels wrong, we want to hear that immediately, while it is still cheap to change. If it snaps into place, we want that proven at scale rather than assumed.
The stakes: USD 1,000 in XRP, holders only
Anyone can download the game, run the course, and take the bragging rights. The money is a narrower race.
The USD 1,000 in XRP is for Epic Fury holders. To be in the running for the payout you need an Epic Fury access key, from our collaboration with xSPECTAR on the XRP Ledger, in your linked wallet when the competition closes.
The leaderboard makes that line obvious, because it has two tabs:
| Tab | Who is on it | What is at stake |
|---|---|---|
| Everyone | Completely open. Free to play, no wallet and no key required. | Your rank against the entire player base. |
| Holders | Filtered automatically against the XRP Ledger, so only verified Epic Fury holders appear. | The fastest run here takes the full USD 1,000 in XRP. |
Post an unbeatable time on the open board and want the bounty as well? You need a key in your wallet before the final whistle. Buying one during the competition counts, as long as you are still holding at close.
Why XRP and not dollars? Respect for where it came from. The community that funded this phase of production came off the XRP Ledger, through xSPECTAR. Paying them back in their own ecosystem's asset is the only version that makes sense. When the Solana and Avalanche rounds come, each will run and pay out on its own network.
Where the build actually is
It ships in the coming weeks. Rather than float a date that might slip, here is the honest state of it right now.
| Status | Component | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Shipped | Backend | Live since 5 September. Login on four providers, display names, on-chain eligibility, server-only run submission, and both leaderboard tabs. |
| Shipped | Login plugin | The in-engine sign-in card, with a headless test so it cannot quietly break before open day. |
| In progress | The course | In full-time development now, and the reason there is no date on this page yet. |
| Next | The download | Plugin wired into the range, packaged, and put in front of you. |
When the build is locked you get at least 48 hours notice before the competition opens, and then it runs for 14 days. No stealth launch, and nobody wakes up having already missed it.
Be first through the door
