ONE PLANET
PER CHAIN

By Paul · March 4, 2026

TL;DR: Every blockchain in VS Protocol gets its own planet. Different biomes, different creatures, different crypto. Solana's planet is a purple bioluminescent jungle swarming with fast creatures. Bitcoin's planet has fewer but tankier enemies. Ethereum's world is full of puzzles and spellcaster-type threats. You earn the crypto of whatever planet you're on, but you can bring your weapons and skins across all of them.

Most multichain games just slap a bridge on it and call it a day. Connect your wallet, swap tokens, done. The chain you're on doesn't change anything about the game itself. It's just plumbing.

We thought that was a wasted opportunity.

From the very start, VS Protocol was designed to be multichain. But we didn't want "multichain" to mean "same game, different wallet." We wanted each chain to actually feel like something. To have its own identity. Its own danger. Its own rewards.

So we're building a planet for every chain.

VS Protocol Solana Planet - Purple bioluminescent forest

The Concept

Here's the idea. Each blockchain that VS Protocol integrates doesn't just add a new token to the economy. It adds an entirely new world to the game. A new planet. New biomes. New ecosystems. New creatures that behave differently depending on the characteristics of the chain they represent.

When you land on a planet, you earn that planet's native crypto. On the Solana planet, you're mining SOL. On the Bitcoin planet, BTC. Your weapons and skins travel with you across planets, but the environment, the threats, and the economy change completely.

"Imagine the BTC maxis vs the ETH maxis fighting it out on each other's planets. Or SUI, the Solana killer, hunting down Solana bros."

Chain maximalism isn't a debate anymore. It's a game mechanic.

Planet SOL

This is where it all started. The Solana planet is the first world we built, and if you've been following VS Protocol, you've already seen it. Purple. Everywhere.

The terrain is covered in bioluminescent vegetation. Massive mushroom-like trees tower above the surface, their caps glowing with that signature purple. Crystal formations grow out of the ground, twisted and jagged. The grass beneath your boots is purple. The sky is purple. It looks like an alien underwater forest that somehow evolved above ground.

VS Protocol Solana Planet environment

And the creatures? They're exactly what you'd expect from Solana: fast. They come at you in swarms. Individually they're not that tough, but they don't give you time to think. You're constantly moving, constantly shooting, constantly checking your six because another wave is already on the way.

Solana processes thousands of transactions per second. Its planet's creatures operate on the same principle: speed in numbers.

⚡ PLANET SOL

Biome: Bioluminescent mushroom forests, crystal ore deposits

Creatures: Fast, aggressive, swarming. Low individual HP, high spawn density

Earn: SOL

Status: Live in development

Planet BTC

If Solana is speed, Bitcoin is weight.

The Bitcoin planet is being designed around the idea of scarcity and durability. The creatures here don't swarm. They don't need to. There are fewer of them but each one is a problem. High HP. Heavy hits. Slow, deliberate movement. Taking one down feels like an achievement because it is one.

Think about what Bitcoin represents: decentralization, immutability, raw staying power. The biggest, hardest, most battle-tested chain in crypto. Its planet reflects that. You won't be spraying and praying here. You'll be loading up your best gear, managing your ammo, and picking your fights carefully.

₿ PLANET BTC

Biome: TBA

Creatures: Slow, heavily armored, devastating damage. Few in number, high individual threat

Earn: BTC

Status: In concept

Planet ETH

Ethereum is the smart contract chain. The programmable chain. The chain where people build scripts that do things automatically.

So that's exactly what its creatures do.

The Ethereum planet's enemies are more like hackers and spellcasters than traditional monsters. They deploy abilities. They create traps. They force you to solve problems while shooting. The environment itself has more puzzles built into it, more systems that need to be cracked before you can extract. It's the most cerebral planet in the VS Protocol universe.

If Solana is a twitch shooter and Bitcoin is a tactical grind, Ethereum is a puzzle box with guns.

Biome: TBA

Creatures: Spellcaster types. Deploy abilities, scripts, and traps. Puzzle-heavy encounters

Earn: ETH

Status: In concept

Your Gear Travels With You

Here's where it gets interesting for the players who stick around long enough to explore multiple planets.

Your weapon skins, your gear, your loadouts, they all travel with you. If you earned a rare skin on the Solana planet, you can absolutely bring it to the Bitcoin planet. And everyone on that planet will know where you got it. It's a flex. It shows your allegiance. It says "I've been to more than one world and I came back with trophies."

Each planet will also have its own unique tech and upgrades for your character. So there's a real incentive to explore beyond just earning different crypto. You might find equipment on the Ethereum planet that gives you an edge back on Solana.

The more planets you play, the more complete your loadout becomes.

How New Planets Get Built

We started with Solana because that's where our journey began. The Colosseum hackathon on Solana was our launchpad. It made sense to build the first planet around the chain that gave us our start.

Going forward, we're actively pursuing grants and support from other blockchain ecosystems. The idea is simple: if a chain wants to see itself represented in VS Protocol as a fully realized planet with unique biomes, creatures, and gameplay mechanics, we want to hear from them.

This is an open invitation. If your chain wants to be one of the first with a planet in VS Protocol, reach out. We're building something that's never been done. And the earlier a chain gets in, the more input they have on how their world takes shape.

Why This Matters

At the end of the day, a lot of people reading this might not care about which blockchain does what. And that's fine. Here's what you should care about:

Different planets means different biomes. Different ecosystems. Different combat styles. Different strategies. It means VS Protocol doesn't just have one map or one meta. It has an expanding universe of worlds, each one playing completely differently from the last.

You might be a Solana planet specialist who thrives in fast-paced swarm encounters. You might be the player who does best on the Bitcoin planet where every engagement is a heavyweight fight. Or maybe the puzzle-heavy Ethereum zones are where you shine.

Every chain brings a new way to play. And every new planet we launch changes the game for everyone.

"We didn't want multichain to be plumbing. We wanted it to be the game."

More planets are coming. Keep your eyes on our Discord and X for announcements on which chains are joining the universe next.

SEE YOU ON THE SURFACE.
